Hiked on 1/28 there was barely any snow or ice. The trail is doable but very wet and muddy. It wasn’t much of a problem on the way up but was pretty slippery on the way down. Feb 17, 2024 · Heybrook Lookout. We decided to checkout both Heybrook Ridge and Heybrook Lookout since I was feeling under the weather and wanting something with shorter distances and elevation. Both trails are great short little hikes and easy to access. Heybrook Ridge was pretty quiet and had great views of Baring and Mt Index. I bet at sunset it is amazing. . Best bread for sandwiches
